Train to Bangkok
Sky oh Sky, can you please drop a 500 dollar note onto me so that I can book my flight to Bangkok??!!!
Yes, I am desperate to travel during my 11 off day, forseeing that I will either be roaming around alone and aimlessly or I will be roleplaying as a log at home. Till the extent that I even googled for a train option, which is possible with a quarter of the air fares but 3 days of train ride.
How pathetic.
OMG i am so freaking scared right now. I just checked my facebook inbox and i actually got a threatening message!
From Rick to Me: Kareen… do you want to join my mafia? if so we can be friends, if not, we must be enemies… Come join up…
how now how. i am so afraid. if i dont add him as a friend, we gotta be enemies and he’s gonna send his mafia after me. i dont want to be dying so early. tsk tsk tsk.
LMAO
so hot, so cute!!!!!
that guy in basic top, skinnies, scarf & trench coat!
let’s see if i can find a pic of him in that outfit.
for once, i’m loving BOF.
was reading Teen’s blog (RE: her wedding preparation) and I cant help but to blog about her complaints. ”Just feeling emo because I don’t have bf who will take the initiative to surprise me to book the date for banquet. LMAO. I will be marrying myself in time to come.”
During courtship, Men follow a simple rule - Women love pleasant surprises and it is of the duty of Men to astonish.
When dating, Women retain their expectations and continue to be surprised, only to realize that the frequency of surprises become longer and longer; the level of surprise become lower and lower. At the same time, the word ‘surprise’ magically changed its meaning and is now almost similar to ‘troubles’ in Men’s Dict.
After marriage, Women should be grateful if Men try to get away with ‘Okay/Sorry lah. Next month/time’, upon mentioning ‘surprise’. Note that it is extremely normal to receive a response such as ‘Aiya. Dont be stupid/silly la.’ and the best reason you will hear next is ‘You think I dont need to work ar. Waste time go plan and do surprise’. As if they agreed that they have been wasting the first half of their life not working nor studying. And you might wish to just resign to fate instead of harping on it, otherwise your next quarrel topic will jolly well consists of this.
Women should watch lesser taiwanese, korean and japanese drama. Most of the scene, if not all, are of bad influence to the mind. Having your boyfriend/husband blindfolding you and then drive you to the beach to watch the stars? Fat Hope. He probably too concerned with the petrol cost, the mosquitos, or maybe even the tsunami. Having a boyfriend/husband who will protect you at all costs, holding on to you when you are about to fall? Dream on. Be thankful if he didnt laugh and scold you for being clumsy.
Girl, at least you had Alex proposing to you on your birthday at Mount Faber, which totally caught you by surprise right?
I probably be the one proposing in future. =.=”
Too skeptical, am I?
the Selfless vs the Selfish
It pays to be nice.
Next year, you’ll gain what you pay out.
With loves.
sick, yet again
every month there’s something happening to me.
first, i had to go through a minor surgery to remove a decaying tooth with weird roots which caused so much pain and a swollen mouth.
then, i’m allergic or bitten by god-knows-what and as a result, my eyes were swollen so badly and I totally cant see. Not forgetting the disgusting little lumps on my face and body which itch mad. went to A & E, had two injections - one on ass (feels more like lower back), the other on stomach. if anyone complains how painful an injection on arm is, try one on the stomach.
and i was on MC again yesterday! vomit, diarrhoea and giddiness. unlucky or what. doc said might be some food that i ate, but there wasnt anything special. cup noodles in the office, korean food at the food court. ice cream from swensens.
urghhhh. can i have a break from all these please!!!! it’s seriously draining my energy away…
First Trip On Plane!
Yes yes, I’m back from Hong Kong. Everyone asking how was the trip, what did you buy, etc. Thanks for all the concern people!
So here’s the updates -
1. I was there for 7 days, and it was freaking raining for 4 days! Ocean Park was flooding!! I didnt manage to sit on some of the Disneyland and Ocean Park’s rides cos of the weather too.
2. ”All Hong Kong bus and cab drivers are ex-street racers.’
3. When it’s peak hour, it’s also push-and-rush time.
4. We dont need Ion in town, we need Citygate Outlet instead. Authentic Ralph Lauren L/S shirt at 50+, up to 70% discount on YSL, Jimmy Choo heels, Jil Sander, Junya Watanabae Sandals, MMM clutch etc. totally crazy. (i got myself a pair of Jil Sander sandals. hehe)
5. Shopping rather expensive there and i only bought a Rococo dress, 2 ‘brandless’ bag, a Izzue cape, one BBC tee and 2 Bape accessories. But that few pieces left me broke.
6. If you are on a budget trip to Hong Kong next time, DO NOT go during the first week of October. cos the hotel rates increased so much and everywhere super packed with China people. (I’m not going to comment on anything, but if you been to Hongkong and met these people, you’ll know why) The fireworks pretty good though.
7. The serving portion for food over there is LARGEEEEEEEE! it’s like twice the servings as compared to Singapore’s.
It’s an enjoyable trip overrall and everything was going pretty smoothly, till the flight back to Singapore. Not only was the flight delayed for almost an hour or so, there was also this weird smell, making me nauseous. Adding on, the seats were sorta dirty. Maybe we should spend a little more for something better the next time. Jetstar’s absolutely a no no for long flights.
